Ken worked in the motor industry in various areas of sales for fifteen years then joined the Electricity Commission of NSW for the same period, attended the University of Technology and achieved the position of industrial officer. He left the Commission in 1989 following a restructure and established his own business as a financial adviser until 1995.
Ken and Josephine lived on the northern beaches of Sydney where he joined the Manly Regional of the Fellowship of Australian Writers in 1998 and was elected president in 2001 and 2002. They moved to Bundanoon in the Southern Highlands in 2002. As there was no FAW writing group there, Ken became the Founding president when the group was established in 2004 and continued until March 2010.
He is presently the Membership Secretary and attends those writers who enquire about our activities and helps them settle in when they decide to join.
Ken enjoys poetry as well as other forms of writing.
